Organic Latex

Harvest Green Mattresses only uses natural GOLS Certified organic latex rubber foam, derived directly from a sustainably harvested source. Our latex is also certified by ECO-Institut as well as OKEO-TEX to have no harmful substances such as; allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers. With a high-performance rate and long-lasting durability, this material also can regulate temperature better as well. These performance attributes are extraordinary and far exceed everyday petroleum-based polyurethane foams and memory foams.

Organic Wool

Our GOTS certified Organic Wool works in conjunction with our organic latex to control temperatures. Wool is unlike any other material as it has inherent properties making it a natural fire barrier, naturally antimicrobial, and resistant to dust mites. Our wool is also certified by OKEO-TEX to have no harmful substances such as; allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers.

Organic Cotton

Our GOTS certified organic cotton is the most breathable, coolest, softest materials available. It also naturally wicks away moisture. This is why it passes the most stringent Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certification. All of these attributes make our top covers luxurious and one of the best sleep surfaces available. Our Cotton is also certified by OKEO-TEX to have no harmful substances such as allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers.

Harvest Pillow Top

For an ultra-luxurious, softer, deeper feel our Pillow Top option offers an additional 2-inch layer of natural organic Latex. This will bring the total overall finished size to 13-inches in thickness. This extra 2-inches (Overall total of 5 inches) of organic natural latex provides additional pressure relief for a deeper feel. This option is preferred widely for side sleepers, athletes and some back sleepers. The Harvest Pillow Top is also available in a Vegan option as well. In the vegan version we will replace the wool layer with material with our all natural cotton. This slight alteration does not affect the overall feel.

This option is sure to deliver the best balance of support, firmness, and comfort. With a total of 1 inch of all natural organic latex, the Harvest Green Essential is best suited for side sleepers. This model is a basic version of our Original style without the use of Hand Tufting. This model is a great choice for a guest room, juveniles, or for the healthy sleep advocate on a budget.

Hand Tufting

Our Harvest Original and Harvest Pillow Top Mattresses feature distinctive, soft rosettes that are made from our pure white GOTS certified organic wool. Hand-tufting is unique as it is hand applied and adds more assembly time and skill. This assists substantially in preventing dips and valleys that are very common in everyday mattresses. It's best attribute is that it allows us yet another opportunity to eliminate nasty adhesive chemicals to our sleep set. Our tufting acts as the bond that keeps our layers from shifting or bunching. Most of today's typical mattresses rely on commercial adhesives to bond layers together. Our Harvest Essentials Mattress does not use Hand Tufting as it features a single layer of Latex.

Response System

Our Mattresses feature the very best in both support and individualized coil comfort. Our posturized response comfort unit provides a consistent level of support to the edge. Our unit is 26% more durable than foam cores and bends 24% easier, making it perfect for adjustable bases. This advanced unit also reduces or eliminates the feeling of roll-off. The best part about it is the fact that it is constructed from 95% recycled scrap steel making it eco-friendly. Our Response Coil Systems are produced in our factories first hand. This unique process provides us first hand control over quality and inventory. This makes us more efficient and less dependent on costly middle-men suppliers.

Such as, unrivaled breathability, humidity control & moisture wicking, Our wool assists the body’s natural temperature regulation process. This enables a sustainability of the optimum body temperature conducive to a full night’s sleep. It’s antimicrobial feature creates a perfect odor-free, allergen-free sleep environment, alleviating irritants & optimizing immune response. And, also acts as yet another all-natural fire barrier allowing us to be natural inside and out. Vegan Mattress Models do NOT contain ANY Wool

Ergonomic Support System

Spring System:

The Harvest Mattresses all feature our very own advanced pressure-relief support system. These units are manufactured by us first hand in our own Factory in Chicago, IL. This unit offers a strategic arrangement of coils placed in distinct zones for proper support at the same time eliminates any feeling of "roll-off" towards the sides. All coils are wrapped in a food-grade polypropylene fabric which is non-woven and non-toxic. All coils float individually for proper spinal alignment as well as to promote better airflow for cooler sleep. The springs are constructed from 2 different wire gauges; 15 gauge (narrow diameter) through out the center; 13 3/4 gauge (thicker gauge) on both sides of the mattress. Our upcycled steel units afford our mattress the ability to deliver the very best in edge support throughout the life of the mattress and truly support our Customers in need of pressure-point relief. The use of heavier gauge wire in our construction provides a more supportive surface.
